Job Description

Join East Side Tattoo in the Heart of Shoreditch, London!

East Side Tattoo is a well-established tattoo and piercing studio located in the vibrant creative hub of East London’s Shoreditch. With over 13 years of history, they are looking to expand their team and welcome dedicated artists to join them.

Positions Available:

• Full-time artist (5 days per week)
• Part-time artist (2-3 days per week)

Requirements:

• Previous studio experience, preferably a minimum of 5 years.
• Ability to provide references.
• A strong specialization in a specific style, with openness and versatility to explore other styles. Priority will be given to traditional/neo-traditional artists, but other styles are considered (except black and grey, as this is already well-represented in the studio).
• Established customer base. Please note that the studio cannot accommodate artists relying solely on walk-ins, as walk-ins are distributed fairly among artists.

What the Studio Provides:

• A competitive 60/40 split.
• Disposable supplies and sundries.
• Online promotion through their website and social media platforms, including daily stories. They also collaborate with a marketing company to enhance their online presence and advertising.
• Your own dedicated station and storage space.
• Client handling – the studio’s manager manages inquiries that come directly to the studio. Bookings are only confirmed after consulting with the artist, allowing you to focus on your work.
